Identify the city and it’s structures.
Huge cities have many problems. Especially if they have rapidly developed from regional centers into megapolis. Structura is a Kyiv urban development initiative, holding it’s own festival. The main goal of festival is to discuss the big city’s problems, their solutions and overall – how to make a better place for it’s inhabitants. From comfort, ecology, safety to the aesthetics.
BBDO Studio was invited to create the identity for the movement. We visualized Kyiv as a living infographic map based on true facts and statistics! Population, frequency of accidents, traffic congestion geography, coverage saturation – data with dynamic nature became the basis of identity design to show diversity of problems that need attention.
As a result – a dynamic logo with 8 were chosen as the best to communicate the mission of the movement and their festival.
